our second time, and with a lot of enjoyment, we are very
proud to show You the final results from this new MR
SAMUEL MORSE Party. Although we still find some other international competitions that are held, partial or totally, at the same time, specially from Europe, that avoid a fluent and solid traffic, we can see the nice amount of people, that take us to imagine that, in a short time, our DX Contest, will be considered by a larger number of stations taking part in it. The new QRP category has increased the contesters in that segment. Generally speaking, the participants number has gone up, and so, the QSO and multiplier numbers. HA7UG in the DX segment and LU5FZ reached the highest marks in this new QRP category. HI8RV repeated an excellent job, that allowed him to take the first place in the DX category, meanwhile LU5ER has done the same in South America, giving us a very nice surprise. Our neighbours CX1JJ and CX7BY were among the LU stations in the South America Top Ten, where we did not find any of the best PY chaps. There were received 50 logs from 25 European Countries, another 15 from 3 North American Countries, 10 from 5 Asian Countries, 1 from Oceania, meanwhile logs from South America were 59 from only 5 Countries. Overall logs received: 135 from 39 Countries. As You can see, we are still very far away to get an international presence, as we are hoping, but the work of spreading the Contest out, is not often a light task. So, we have set a five years time, with solid and very compromised work, with all our resources, thinking in advance, that all of You will be together with us, giving the usual support and dedication to Morse. You know, one of our ambitions is to put this DX Contest in the memory and thinking of all South Americans, as the most important one, where we can not be absent in any way,and though, for a single and simple consequence, the participants from the rest of the World will raise automatically. Do remember You, South Americans, You are the most important attraction,so we can go on with this important organization effort. Por segunda vez y con gran satisfacción les presentamos los resultados finales de esta nueva fiesta de Don Samuel. Si bien nos continuamos encontrando con otras competencias internacionales en horarios coincidentes total o parcialmente, en especial del continente europeo, que complican un buen tráfico sostenido, hemos podido observar la gran predisposición de los competidores y participantes, lo que nos lleva a imaginar que en breve tiempo nuestro DX Contest, estará siendo considerado por una mayor cantidad de participantes. La nueva categoría QRP ha incrementado levemente el número de participantes en esa modalidad. En términos generales, se ha incrementado el número de participantes y por ende la cantidad de QSOs y multiplicadores se ha ampliado tambien. HA7UG en DX y LU5FZ alcanzaron las máximas puntuaciones en la nueva categoría QRP. HI8RV ha repetido un excelente trabajo que le ha permitido alcanzar la máxima puntuación de la categoría DX en tanto que LU5ER lo hizo entre los SA, sorprendiendonos gratamente. Los vecinos CX7BY y CX1JJ se entremezclaron con el resto de estaciones argentinas en el Top Ten de SA del que estuvieron ausentes los mejores PYs. Se recibieron de 50 planillas de 25 países de Europa, otras 15 de 3 países de America del Norte, 10 planillas que corresponden a 5 países del Asia, 1 planilla de Oceania, en tanto que las planillas de Sud América fueron 59 de sólo 5 países. Planillas recibidas: 135 de 39 países. Como podrán observar, aún estamos muy lejos de obtener una respuesta internacional de proporciones adecuadas, pero las tareas de difusión y aceptacion de un Contest de DX no suelen resultar simples. Por ello nos hemos fijado una meta de 5 años de trabajo sostenido y comprometido con todas nuestras fuerzas y recursos, descontando que todos Uds. nos acompañarán con su habitual apoyo y dedicación al Morse. Saben Uds. que una de nuestras anbiciones es lograr instalar en la memoria y pensamiento de todos los sudamericanos, este DX Contest como el más importante, aquel en el que los SA no debemos estar ausentes y entonces, por simple consecuencia, la cantidad de participantes del resto del mundo se verá incrementada de forma automática. Recuerden que Uds. los SA son el atractivo indispensable para mejorar aún más, el requisito indispensable para que podamos continuar creciendo y la única razón para que llevemos adelante este importante esfuerzo de organización. Recomendaciones
Para la proxima edición tenga presente lo siguiente -
Si remite sus planillas por correo: hagalo utilizando la hoja de concursos del GACW para 40 QSOs.
Utilice la hoja de resumen realizando el computo de, QSOs, puntos obtenidos, zonas y paises trabajados (por separado) y celcule el resultado final. Efectue sus comentarios y agregue su firma.
Para el caso de logs electrónicas, recomendamos la utilización del programa AA Log Test Module para Windows, el que puede ser asociado con el CW Type para trabajar desde memorias y teclado directamente. Estos programas pueden obtenerse desde nuestra pagina Web y son gratuitos.
Además todos los SA pueden usar programas de concursos tales como el CT en la opción CQ WW DX Contest, etc. Los DX abstenerse a menos que luego modifiquen los cálculos.
Recuerde enviarnos los resultados en formato TXT y tambien su hoja de resumen, estas son opciones del AA Log y también del CT.
NO envie formatos ADIF o CABRILLO ya que estos carecen de toda la información que necesitamos y luego debemos recalcular toda su planilla,
Marque cada archivo con su QRA con extensión TXT + Hoja de resumen como QRA extensión SUM e incluya todos los cálculos.
