GACW Honor List - Ranking
Effective April/2004 a list of worked entities by GACW Members of any kind, radio clubs included, will be published in the GACW's internet web site and also in the paper bulletin "Radio Frequency".
Object of this publication will be show and recompense the group members job. Throughout their DX communications they may be included in an special ranking list observing the following rules:
1- Credits will be for two way communications in CW mode on any amateur HF band according to each amateur class privileges.
2- The GACW radio countries list will be the base, plus all provinces of Argentina Republic. The argentinean provinces will count separately. In that way any member working 185 GACW entities plus 23 argentinean provinces will count on the list as 183 + 23, total = 210
3- In the case of Antarctica stations they will be included in Tierra del Fuego Province and, if applies, an additional credit will be given as Orcadas Islands, Shetland Islands, Antarctica, etc.
4- In order to promote radio telegraphy activity among old amateurs, holding a great baggage of knowledge and experience, and new hams making their first steps, valid dates for all QSO's will be from OCTOBER 1st., 2003; on which San Juan Province was activated by the GACW.
5- To be included in the list a minimum of 25 GACW entities and a minimum of 5 argentinean provinces (total = 30) , will be necessary.
6- This ranking will be also published in the GACW's paper bulletin "Radio Frequency", starting on the "2004/Spring-Summer" edition, which will be mailed to the members on October 2004.
7- Those GACW's members holding the three first positions on the list published on each springsummer edition of Radio Frequency, will receive an award during the last meeting of each year.
Deadline will be the lists received until September 30th., included, of each year.
8- The GACW member holding a minimum of 330 GACW entities and all Argentinean provinces -including at least one station with a "Z" suffix callsign- will receive a special plaque during the same meeting.
9- Credits will be given for "worked" entities or provinces. It won't be necessary to show or hold any kind of card or confirmation.
10- A member declaration stating that all his QSO's were made according to GACW code of ethics and his home country updated regulations, will be enough to receive the credits.
11- For control and record purposes, each member must submit all his credits stating QRA, mode, date and band in which every QSO was held. A special form, that is available on the GACW web site, must be signed and post mailed to the GACW.
Since October 1st. 2004, the GACW will accept the lists mailed by electronic means only if the sender and/or his electronic address can be verified.
12- All deleted, for any reason, entities; will remain in any member total credits.
13- Coordinators and check point may be included in the list but cannot receive any award or plaque.
14- GACW member number 542, Fernando E. Fernandez (LW2DX) will be check point for this ranking and will be in charge of checking and controlling all submissions to be published. Any questions for Fernando may be asked via his e-mail lw2dx@ciudad.com.ar
15- GACW radio countries list and UIT assignations list are available in the GACW web site http://gacw.no-ip.org . You can also get there the special form to submit your list and also a help for the radio countries list in .doc and excel format, a "who is who" section, call books, etc.

QRP HONOR LIST - QRP GACW RANKING
Due to several questions asking a special honor list for QRP stations, GACW have decided to list QRP stations separately. To be included in it you must ask it in the form to be post mailed, stating and signing this declaration:
"I WANT TO BE INCLUDED IN THE QRP HONOR LIST, AND DECLARE THAT ALL COMMUNICATIONS LISTED ABOVE HAVE BEEN MADE USING NO MORE THAN 5 WATTS OUTPUT POWER.
The credits obtained in the QRP list may be included, without restrictions, on the common ranking.
